Dual n-back is a “brain game” that has been taking off recently due to a number of research papers suggesting it can measurably increase fluid intelligence (logical reasoning). Dual n-back tests work by giving you a visual and aural stimulation (a square on a grid, and a word, respectively). You need to remember the sequence of squares and words, and give feedback if there is a repetition after n steps. For more information than you could possibly ever want about dual n-back and the science behind it, check out Gwern’s excellent FAQ.
Not being 100% satisfied with existing dual n-back apps online, I thought I’d make this simple app to teach myself angular.js via Yeoman, and who knows, maybe increase my IQ by a couple of points. Check it out at nnback.ukoki.com, all feedback welcome.
